Green tea for silky hair

Green tea is enriched with catechins and polyphenols that reduce hair loss and stimulate growth of hair. The hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties of green tea reduce scalp dryness and control dandruff. Vitamin B in green tea prevents formation of split ends, which is one of the major causes of hair breakages.

Though drinking green tea aids hair growth, it’s better to apply it directly on your hair to see more visible results. Here are couple of ways that you can directly use green tea on your hair to reduce hair loss, improve hair strength, and stimulate hair growth.

Hair rinse

Green tea hair rinse is suggested for those who have heavy hair shedding. Prepare a large mug of green tea using just water and no sugar. You can also add one spoon of apple cider vinegar to the green tea. After you’ve washed your hair, rinse it with green tea. It strengthens the hair from the follicles. Apple cider vinegar adds shine to your hair. Rinse your hair with green tea regularly for healthy and dandruff-free tresses.
